The Online Recording and Assessment System (ORAS) is a learner management system for NHSScotland. It enables learners to register and access learning materials and administrators to monitor and report on training progress.

Once registered, staff can access a range of e-learning courses & modules including transfusion and e-induction. Access to a range of resources and links is also available. The system provides a number of innovative features for staff and managers alike. Staff can produce a certificate which details learning activity undertaken.

Managers can monitor and report on training undertaken by their staff which can inform workforce planning, learning and development plans and to identify suitable learning opportunities for staff.
