Module 1 Safe Transfusion Practice and Module 2 Blood Components and Indications for Use have been accredited by Napier University, Edinburgh with the Scottish Credit Qualification Framework (SCQF).
Module 1 Safe Transfusion Practice has received SCQF Level 7 (2 credits), which are equivalent to a Higher National Certificate, or Level 4 with England, Wales and Northern Ireland National Qualifications Framework.
Module 2 Blood Components and Indications for Use has received SCQF Level 9 (4 credits), which are equivalent to an Ordinary Degree and Graduate Certificate, or Level 6 with England, Wales and Northern Ireland National Qualifications Framework.
The credits gained when undertaking the programme are transferable and the learner can make a claim for credit against a further qualification.
