EU Optimal Blood Use Project (EUOBUP)

The EU Optimal Use of Blood is a collaborative project to develop a pan-European standard for optimal blood use. Co-funded by the European Commission, the project will formally commence on 1st May 2007 for a three year period. The project website will be officially launched on the 13th June 2007.

ESTM announces next residential course - Monday, May 26, 2008

The European School of Transfusion Medicine has announced its next residential course in September 2008.

'The quality of the clinical transfusion practice in Europe: a basic step to haemovigilance and transfusion saftey' is being held from 10th -14th September 2008 in Skopje, Macedonia

The course includes a roundtable discussion on international co-operation in training in Transfusion Medicine
