Student Nurse Knowledge Retention Study (Collaboration with Napier University) & Assessment of the Effectiveness of Different Teaching Methods
Purpose of the Project: To evaluate the different methods of the programme delivery (face-to-face, self directed and e-learning). The Kirkpatrick (1994) model will be used as a measure of outcome to assess undergraduate nursing and medical students using a simulated learning experience as the assessment method. Proposed collaborators are the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service, Clinical Skills Unit, University of Dundee and NHS Education Scotland.
