The Trainers' and Assessors' Accreditation Programme (TAAP) has been developed by the Better Blood Transfusion and Effective Use of Blood Teams and designed to produce highly competent and effective trainers and competency assessors across NHSScotland (NHSS). The aim is to ensure that NHSS Divisions have access to a well-informed network of local experts in blood transfusion.

The aim is to work in partnership with NHS Education Scotland and NHS Quality Improvement Scotland to pilot the TAAP programme in Blood Transfusion across NHSScotland.
